Factory Control Arm Type

*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014-2018 models trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing the help images in each tab below.

Important Notes

1. *IMPORTANT*: Cast aluminum lower control arm required for '16-18 model year trucks for CV boot clearance.
             - OE aluminum lower control arm reference numbers = 22853473 and 22853474, or equivalents.
             - Cast aluminum and stamped steel lower control arms have the same ball joint taper.
             - Cast steel LCAs have a different ball joint taper and would not be usable for ’16-'18 model years.

3. 33x12.50 tires will require weld on steering stop, also it requires inner fender well modification to clear this width tire.
4. Factory wheels cannot be reinstalled due to upper control arm interference.
5. Will Not fit MagneRide magnetic ride control equipped models.
6. This system will not fit 2007 classic models
