This BDS Suspension 4-inch extended travel 4-Link Lift Kit, designed specifically for diesel-powered Ram 2500 trucks, improves ride quality, handling, and off-road capability while maintaining excellent on-road comfort. With clearance for up to 37-inch tires, it delivers a more aggressive stance while preserving proper driveline geometry and everyday drivability.

 

Up front, the kit features Pro-Ride coil springs engineered to support the added weight of the diesel platform while providing a smooth, controlled ride. A heavy-duty 4-link front suspension system replaces the factory control arms to properly position the front axle while significantly reducing suspension bind through the full range of travel. By allowing each link to articulate independently, the 4-link design maintains more consistent caster and pinion angles, improving straight-line stability, steering return-to-center, braking control, and overall ride quality both on and off the road. The reinforced link construction delivers exceptional strength and long-term durability for demanding on-road use, towing, and off-road conditions.

 

A heavy-duty track bar bracket is included to precisely center the front axle and maintain accurate steering geometry. Also included is a brand-new 10-bolt transfer case indexing ring engineered to clock the transfer case for optimized driveline angles and increased suspension droop. This indexing ring features an all-new, industry-leading seal developed specifically for motorsports applications, delivering superior sealing performance, reduced friction, and long-term durability under extreme heat and speed. By properly clocking the transfer case, this system allows increased suspension travel and improved off-road capability compared to lift kits that do not re-index the transfer case. Additional components include sway bar links, brake line brackets, and premium shock absorbers matched to your selected configuration.

 

In the rear, lift is achieved using a pair of BDS Pro-Ride coil springs. Matching rear shocks are included to maintain balanced ride quality and consistent performance from front to rear.

 

Shock options allow you to fine-tune ride quality and performance to match your driving style. BDS NX2 Nitro shocks provide a comfortable, well-controlled ride for daily driving and light off-road use. FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks feature aluminum construction and internal floating piston technology for consistent, fade-free performance. FOX 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks increase oil capacity and cooling for enhanced damping control in more aggressive terrain. At the top level, FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks with Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters deliver race-inspired performance and tunability, allowing independent adjustment of low- and high-speed compression for maximum control and versatility.

Bump Stop Option

Rubber Bump Stop:

Rubber factory style bump stops provide a hard stop for the suspension will keep your shocks and other components safe. They are great for road use and light offroading where the bump stops will be engaged at low speeds.

Important Notes

1. Fits Diesel models only
2. Special literature required: OE Service Manual for model/year of vehicle. Refer to manual for proper disassembly/reassembly procedures of OE and related components.
3. Adhere to recommendations when replacement fasteners, retainers and keepers are called out in the OE manual.
4. Larger rim and tire combinations may increase leverage on suspension, steering, and related components. When selecting combinations larger than OE, consider the additional stress you could be inducing on the OE and related components.
5. Post suspension system vehicles may experience drive line vibrations. Angles may require tuning, slider on shaft may require replacement, shafts may need to be lengthened or trued, and U-joints may need to be replaced.
6. Secure and properly block vehicle prior to installation of BDS Suspension components. Always wear safety glasses when using power tools.
7. If installation is to be performed without a hoist, BDS Suspension Co. recommends rear alterations first.
8. Due to payload options and initial ride height variances, the amount of lift is a base figure. Final ride height dimensions may vary in accordance to original vehicle attitude. Always measure the attitude prior to beginning installation.
9. If selecting Coil-Over option, welding equipment is required for the Coil-over conversion.
