Front 12 bolt differential cover for 2011 and newer GMC/Chevrolet 2500HD, 3500HD trucks.

Magnetic drain plug and new mounting hardware included.

The shape of the PML cover is similar to the OEM cover to avoid clearance issues. Cooling fins on the bottom help with dissipating heat from the fluid. Drain on the bottom for easy fluid changes and a magnetic drain plug is included. Fill/level check is at the same location as the stock cover fill/level check.

Ring gear is 9.25 or 9.5.

Vehicle configurations vary! PML cannot guarantee fitment. Check your vehicle configuration and clearance available for a larger cover.

Gasket

This PML cover is compatible with the stock gasket, AC Delco part numbers 20768579 or 85742563. This GM/AC Delco gasket is a reusable gasket. Make sure it is clean and free of any dirt, bits or nicks or else that it where it will leake. Be careful that it does not bind on the bolts. This PML cover will also work well with silicon gaskets like RTV, cork composite gaskets or paper fibre gaskets.

Included with PML Differential Cover

With each cover, PML includes new mounting bolts with washers, plug for fill/level check hole, and a magnetic drain plug.

Inside of PML Differential Cover

This PML cover follows the same general shape as the stock cover with some extra capacity at the bottom. Open interior is similar to stock cover.

Optional 1/8 NPT Machining

Optionally, this cover can be drilled and tapped with a 1/8 NPT hole for an aftermarket temperature sending unit. There is an extra charge for PML to machine this and a plug would be included. The location is on the driver side of the cover below the fill/level check hole.

Stock Covers

There are two OEM factory cover part numbers. The covers are the same and this PML cover can replace either one.

• AC Delco Part Number 84756922 for 2020 and newer trucks
• AC Delco Part Number 20768577 for 2011 to 2019 trucks

Front Shield

On some models, there is a splash shield protecting the steering in the front. Shield does not interfer with the differential cover and is not designed to protect differential cover.
