GASKET-10R80 | PML Cover Gasket For PML 10R80 Transmission Pans

PML custom gasket specifically for PML 10R80 transmission pans.

One gasket is included with each PML 10R80 transmission pan. This would be an additional gasket.

Made of cork and rubber, this gasket makes a secure seal when used with a PML pan. PML offers this gasket as an alternative to RTV.

PML designed this gasket for our 10R80 transmission pans. We do not know how it would fit or function on any other pan.

PML recommends cork type gaskets with our transmission pans. A soft, flexible gasket works best when joining two machined surfaces. In this case, those surfaces are the flange of the PML pan and the flange of the transmission housing. There is a large, flat sealing surface area on both flanges and this gasket is design specifically for these surfaces.

PML transmission pans feature thick, machined gasket flanges for a strong, leak-free seal. The Ford OEM gasket can be used wtih the PML pan. PML does not recommend this gasket for use with the Ford OEM pan. We do not know if it would work.

Are These Gaskets Reusable?

Cork composite gaskets are generally not reusable. When torqued down, the material compresses to the seal. Reusing it can lead to leaks.

How Are They Shipped?

PML ships gaskets flat in a cardboard container so that they arrive safely and ready to use.
