Description

The Ford 6.7L Power Stroke oil-to-water transmission cooler is connected to a solenoid-valve assembly that controls coolant flow into the cooler. The solenoid is energized as soon as ignition on, cutting off coolant flow into the transmission cooler completely until the transmission fluid temperature reaches around 210°F. Even when the factory valve is fully open, its restrictive passage negatively impacts cooler effectiveness.

The PPE Full-Flow Transmission Fluid Coolant Valve eliminates the factory restriction by allowing uninterrupted coolant flow into your transmission cooler at all times, lowering transmission temperatures during towing, hauling, off-roading, or even highway cruising. The PPE valve is constructed from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating. If you’re looking to maximize the service life of your 10-speed transmission, this quick 15-minute upgrade is a must-have.
