On the 2019+ Ram 2500, 3500, and Power Wagon platforms, the bolt-on frame mount that comes on the truck from OEM, is made from Aluminum. The OEM Aluminum bracket is plenty strong, but we have found that when using an aftermarket Track Bar like ours, the very high mandatory mounting bolt torque combined with the smaller surface area crush sleeve ends, can make the sleeve compress the aluminum.

When this happens it's virtually impossible to keep the Track Bar frame side mounting bolt tight. Our bracket is basically just a copy of the factory aluminum mount, but just made from steel for a bit more long term durability.
