Compared to the top-of-the-line XB Evo headlights, the Hybrid model drops the lens heaters, the mode selectors, and the welcome sequence to meet a lower price point.

Maximum Performance: Thanks to an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, the XB Evo Hybrid headlights will meet & exceed the highest standards for headlight performance that are set by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety... which is a tough mark even for most modern luxury automakers. Here, the Super Duty Evo Hybrid headlight utilizes four Bi-LED projectors per headlight to deliver unmatched light output, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness. All optics are powered by the latest OE-grade automotive LEDs from Nichia in Japan.

On Road: The Morimoto XB Evo Hybrid Headlights are DOT compliant with all FVMSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA. Their projector optics are so capable and efficient that their LEDs are only driven at about 50% of their full potential intensity to avoid exceeding limitations set by compliance. The vertical aim is fully adjustable within +/- 6 degrees for a perfect alignment on any Super Duty, even with a lift. The system was designed in California by Morimoto's lead optical engineer, Yoshi Ishida, to deliver maximum visibility, comfort, and safety, and that it does.

Off Road: Yes, you read that correctly. Out of the box, the XB Evo Hybrid are only producing a fraction of their potential intensity for compliance reasons. Want more light for your off-road adventures? The optional Supercharged LED driver boosts both low and high beam intensity by approximately 30% - all without sacrificing reliability or warranty. An additional feature is the multi-stage welcome sequence that is "unlocked" with the Supercharged drivers. While the Supercharged drivers easily enable these to outshine every other headlight for the Super Duty on the market, we must reiterate that they will result in non-compliant levels of peak beam intensity and therefore should not be used on public roads.

DRL Optics: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate with special surface textures, which enable maximum intensity from all viewing angles. Easily out-shining low-tech optics found in most every other aftermarket headlight, they also provide a one-off look. The DRL illuminates in a bright white with dim parking light mode, and a bright turn signal using the same optic backed by amber LEDs.

OE Fit & Installation: The XB Evo Hybrid headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free install. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, flickering, flashing, or radio interference.
