Removal of the OEM Transmission Crossmember in the 2nd Gen 1994-2002 Dodge Ram, is a terrible job. If you have not done it, it usually requires a Porta-Power, prybars, and lots of sweat and swearing! This project started with the task of making a more simple 3 piece Crossmember so Transmission work was easier, but like most things we design, it quickly evolved into a more complex assembly serving many purposes.

Once installed, dropping the transmission is now super simple, as our crossmember center section drops out easy, while the 2 side plates just stay in place. The bottom center section has a wedge shape at the ends, to make sure it locks in solid into the side plates. The burly design and extra protection provided when off road, is never a bad thing!
