Add another measure of protection and increase transmission fluid flow rate to the transmission cooler, this easy-to-install PPE Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve allows for enhanced cooling for the 10-speed transmission in your Toyota Tundra/Sequoia.

The factory thermal bypass valve has an integrated thermostat that cuts off/limits flow rates even when it fully opens. Restricted flow often results in high operating temperatures and even overheating, which can cause permanent damage to transmission gears and clutches. The PPE TBV eliminates the extremely restrictive factory thermostat, providing uninterrupted, unrestricted fluid flow to the transmission cooler. In our 75 MPH highway testing, the equilibrium operating temperature dropped from 201°F to 174°F with the PPE TBV installed, that’s a 27°F reduction.

For further protection, a magnetic plug with high-temperature rated neodymium magnet is included. This serviceable plug traps ferrous debris to keep your transmission running longer and healthier.
