PML custom designed gaskets specifically for PML Chevy Small Block Valve Covers, Center Bolt. Set of two. Cork composite material for a leak-free seal. One set is included with each set of PML valve covers. This would be an additional set.

PML designed these gaskets for PML valve covers and we do not know how they will fit and function with other valve covers.

PML center bolt mount small block Chevy valve covers have been installed on many standard 1987 to 1998 Gen II type heads and many crate motors.

On PML Valve Covers

These gaskets work with PML CHEVROLET or CORVETTE script center bolt valve covers. A set of these gaskets is included with these valve covers.

Why does PML Recommend Cork Gaskets?

PML valve covers feature heavy duty construction with thick walls so they will not tweak or bend when bolted onto the cylinder head. The cylinder head also will not tweak or bend. A cork or cork composite gasket provides a soft, flexible, cushioning layer between the two hard surfaces to make a good seal.

With PML valve covers, PML does NOT recommend rubber gaskets or any gasket that is molded with a metal insert. These are too stiff and can cause leaks when installing PML covers. These kinds of gaskets work well with stock covers, which are thin and can tweak when bolted on.

Are These Gaskets Reusable?

Cork composite gaskets are generally not reusable. When torqued down, the material compresses to a the seal. Reusing it can lead to leaks.

How Are They Shipped?

PML ships gaskets flat in a cardboard container so that they arrive safely and ready to use.
