GASKET-NAG2 | PML Cover Gasket For PML 722.9/NAG2 Transmission Pans

PML custom gasket for PML 722.9/NAG2 transmission pans. This gasket will not work with the stock pan and the stock gasket will not work with a PML pan.

One gasket is included with each pan. This gasket would be in addition to the gasket included with the PML pan.

PML designed this gasket for our 722.9, NAG2 transmission pans. Made of cork and rubber, this gasket makes a secure seal when used with a PML pan. PML offers this gasket as an alternative to RTV.

PML NAG2, 722.9 transmission pans will NOT work with the stock gasket.

This gasket will NOT work with OEM stock NAG2, 722.9 transmission pans.

Are These Gaskets Reusable?

Cork composite gaskets are generally not reusable. When torqued down, the material compresses to a the seal. Reusing it can lead to leaks.

How Are They Shipped?

PML ships gaskets flat in a cardboard container so that they arrive safely and ready to use.

Thickness:

This gasket is about 0.065 inches thick.

Compared to OEM Gasket and Bolts:

The OEM gasket is a formed hard plastic gasket. It attaches the transmission and OEM pan using retaining clips and bolts, which can cause the stock pan to deform and leak. The PML pan has a thick, strong flange that is machined flat so simple socket head cap screws and flat cork composite gasket make a secure seal.

PML NAG1/722.6 pans also come with a cork composite gasket and do not use the OEM gasket or retaining clips. PML NAG2 pan uses the same system.
