Four wheel drive Durango & Dakota will likely have exhaust and frame clearance problems with a deeper pan.

Included with PML Deep 48RE, 727, 418, 618 Transmission Pan

Installation instructions, a magnetic drain plug, 1/8 NPT plug, and all mounting bolts are included with the pan.

Filter and Gasket Information

PML designed this pan to work with the stock filter and gasket.

A filter extension is not needed. This pan is one inch deeper than stock. There is plenty of mixing of fluid when the engine is running to to prevent a stagnant layer at the bottom of the pan.

The filter pick up and fluid level are at the same location with the PML pan as with the stock pan.

PML recommends a cork or cork composite gasket with this pan.

Drain and Temperature Sender Port on Driver Side

The drain is on the driver side of the vehicle. The hole is at the bottom of the pan for complete draining of fluid. A magnetic drain plug and copper sealing washer are included with the pan.

This pan has a 1/8 NPT sender port for an aftermarket transmission fluid temperature gauge. The port is on the driver side of the pan a few inches toward the rear from the drain. A plug for the hole is included.
